My report shows wrong or outdated information

If your report mentions an old address, the wrong town, or facts you updated months ago, this article explains what is happening and how to fix it.

Why this happens

AI does not just read your website. It reads every public place your business appears: directories, listings, maps, review sites, and old pages. If any of those still show your old address or phone number, AI sees a business whose facts do not match. That lowers its confidence, and it sometimes repeats the stale information.

The fix

1. Open the Workbench and find the action for matching your name, address, and phone everywhere. This is your Verified NAP Consistency signal.
2. Follow the steps to find and update the listings that still carry old information.
3. Give the updates time to propagate, then run a fresh report to confirm AI now sees matching facts.

If the report names the wrong company entirely
